Remembering Nate
Nathan Roden

Nate was the kind of friend who made everyone around him feel like the most important person in the room. Born in Lithia Springs, Georgia in 1988, he grew up in and around Douglasville and never met a stranger — 3,000 friends on Facebook barely scratched the surface of the people whose lives he touched.

He worked in roofing at Safeguard Roofing Group, but anyone who knew him knows his real work was showing up: for the beach trips to Panama City, the motorcycle rides and ATV mud runs, the late nights that turned into the best stories, and the friends who became family.

He was loud in the best way, generous with his time, and impossible to forget. If you knew Nate, you have a story — a time he made you laugh until it hurt, or dropped everything to help you out. This page is for those stories. Add yours below, so that the way he made us all feel never fades.
